POW! Versus the Ann Arbor News
An interested observer may have noticed that none of the POW! endorsed council ccandidates were endorsed by our local newspaper, the Ann Arbor News. POW! is thrilled to stand with the forces for open government versus the Republican Ann Arbor News. The Ann Arbor News is well known for its editorializing in political news stories and strong support for reactionary forces on the local, state and national levels. The Ann Arbor News, while enjoying revenue culled form a mostly progressive community, has for the worst of American politicians. The News endorsed George W. Bush. Keep that in mind on August 5.
